Windows Live Mail

  • Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but the forum layout is a bit confusing. I had a small web site and email address at hotmail linked to this web site on the current MS Office Live. I do not use Outlook I use WLM for everything.

Will I lose all my contacts in WLM if the old office live is shut down? When the transition is complete should I stop signing in to WLM with my old office live ID?

I hope I explained it properly as I have no plan on using Outlook

  • Bill,

If your e-mail is XXX@hotmail, and by WLM you mean Windows Live Mail, then no niether will change, And if you want to you can use WLM with the exchange mail that is part of Office365.

Windows Live will still be running, it is only the Office Live Small Business that is shutting down.

Many thanks for that prompt response. I do have an account and use it with Windows Live Mail which I sign in daily and synch with calendar. So its only the web site in Office Live that I need to be concerned about and migrate?
