Problems with sending and receiving external emails

Online Exchange with Office 365 seems to be working with my own verified domains but I am getting intermittent failure message with some incoming and outgoing external emails (especially to and from Gmail accounts). Anyone out there can help me?

  • I have narrowed the problem down. It seems that the [problem arises when the recipient replies to an email. If the email is sent from 'scratch' then there is no problem.
