Exchange Online Login

  • What is the proper website address to use for logging into Exchange online using an Office 365 account?  When I try to login to www.outlook.com, it rejects my Office 365 username and instead is asking for a Windows Live account.  This doesn't seem right since the logo at the top of the page shows Office 365.

  • Go to www.outlook.com/<your domain>. For example, if your e-mail address ends in Contoso.com, you would go to www.outlook.com/contoso.com. For more information, see the help topic at help.outlook.com/.../ee410552.aspx

    Hope this helps!

  • hello

    the simpler URL is https://mail.office365.com

outlook.com URL sometimes redirects to Live@Edu

  • interesting, so now you're going against your company's own documentation that says to go to outlook.com/domain.com.  MS really needs to get their act together and be unified in what they're telling customers!

  • I'm no working for MS :D

regarding the URL's indeed there is 3 differents: the one (not simple) with the server name, mail.office365 and outlook.com

by the past, outlook.com was/is used by Live@Edu; with the coming Office 365, team is working to unify this

  • My apologies, as often as you post, I assumed you worked for MS.
