i mean 1user and userprinciple name for each domain. is it possible ?
Thanks for the feedback.
I fully understand your requirement. Currently, you can create two user with same alias or dispaly name. However, it will be a limitation on Exchange online and Lync online service. For example: you have created a user named email@example.com. You can create a new user named firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks, Neo Zhu
Thanks for your reply. They are different (with different online ID and userID ). However, the user who use different UPN and same alias will cause the limiation when they using Lync online and Exchange online service.
How are you doing? I am just writing to see if there is any progress on this issue. I do not mean to push you. I just want to ensure that you do not encounter any problems during the troubleshooting. Thank you.
@Neo Zhu: Thank you for ur ans. As u said i can create email@example.com & firstname.lastname@example.org, but "user" in 1st and 2nd name r treated as same user or different user in office365 ? if they r treated as 2 different user then their display name can't same, is it ? OR if they r treated as a single user in Office365 then in user's detail i can see 2 UserPrinciplename for "user", is it ?
