Before things go ahead, I would like to confirm if Office subscription you mentioned is Office 2010 Professional Plus for Office 365 and you experienced this issue when Open this Microsoft Office application or activate the subscription. It would be nice if you could post a screenshot of the current situation on your side.
If my understanding is true, would you please check the following aspects to help us narrow down this issue?
1. The account you used has been assigned the Office 2010 Professional Plus license.
2. Have you used the desktop Office application successfully before?
