I have a problem with syncing my mobile device with Exchange Online. When I reply or forward an email message from my Windows Phone 8 (Lumia 920) I can't see the little reply/forward arrow later in Outlook 2013 when I'm back on my desktop so I can't easily see that I've already replied on this message. This arrows are missing also in Outlook Web Access.

The same situation is when I'm replying from my Mail app on Windows 8.

I was easily able to create Mobile Policy before the pre-upgrade and access each user that I needed the policy applied via the admin page. Now after the upgrade I cannot do this via EAC. I dont want to do the powershell stuff so I would like to know why I cannot access a single user to change the mobile policy. In every user I see that the active sync section is greyed out. Following the guide here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997929(v=exchg.150).aspx I still cannot do this to individual users. The steps are:

In the EAC, click Recipients > Mailboxes and then select a mailbox.

In the Details pane, scroll to Phone and Voice Features and select View details to display the Mobile Device Details screen.

The mobile device mailbox policy that’s currently assigned is displayed. To change the mobile device mailbox policy, click Browse.

Choose the appropriate mobile device mailbox policy from the list, click OK and then click Save.

Problem is that under Phone and Voice Features there is no "View Details" mine looks like this:

Phone and Voice Features

Unified Messaging:
Disabled

Enable

Currently the only way I can do this is following the guide to select multiple users to apply the policy. VERY ANNOYING

In the EAC, click Recipients > Mailboxes.

 Select multiple users.

In the Details pane, scroll down to Exchange ActiveSync and click Update a policy.

Click Browse to choose a mobile device mailbox policy.

Click OK and then click Save.

That is the problem. Share your contact list does not solve the problem, because it is not visible on a mobile device. For an Ipad or Iphone is the solution that you context info@kopwerk.nl as a second Exchange account and then synchronize the contacts only. Other mobile devices can only be linked to 1 Exchange account. The Global address list (external contacts) is not an option, because you can't categorize there (in Outlook) and that we use right. In short, we're coming out. Also our external party that supports us with Office 365 and works with PowerShell, doesn't know the answer. There may be a solution via the team sites, where you can link to Outlook and can link to mobile devices? Like you guys advice.

Android access with "send as" ability

I've read many previous posts concerning accessing shared email from an Android. It seems as though the answer is you can access the shared email but you can not "send as". Has anyone been able to "send as" from a shared account from an android or is this not possible?

Windows Phone 710 shows old deleted content

I have a Lumia 710 and Office 365 P-plan

I have set up in SharePoint online a team site

I populated shared documents and could see them on WP710

Now I no longer need to see these documents and so have deleted them from the library through a web browser - and they have now been removed from the server.

However on the phone, the page showing shared documents says 0 documents - but click it and they are all still there - of course they can't be retrieved - but how do I get them to disappear from the list?

Thanks

Reduce the amount of entries on mobile view

When I access our sharePoint lists on my mobile phone there is a very long list of our past entries before we can scroll to the bottom to create a new listing. This is occurring on multiple clients Office 365 systems and across both iOS and Android.

The symptom is that the app was setup properly and can run for days or weeks but then get a popup saving the password is not valid. Usually putting in the same password back in will work right away. Other times it takes a couple of times before it will stick.

The password is not the issue since it works on the portal and with the Outlook 2013 client.

I have personally seen this happen on my phone Android phone and iPad.

Please do not give the canned solution of remove the account and put it back on the device. I have done this several times and the problem comes back. Plus for 50+ installed clients that is not a feasible request.

ActiveSync not working with Office 365 Trial

ActiveSync from an Android device is not connecting.

The following ifs must be true:

You own Samsung Galaxy Note II;

You were originally using hotmail and had a configuration name in
the MicroSoft Exchange Server name box of m.hotmail.com;

Your operating system is at least updated to 4.1.1;

And you are trying to upgrade your confirguration server name from it's
existing name of m.hotmail.com. And this assumes you know how to "add an
account from the settings area. You must be proficient in this arena so you
can navigate to make this simple but oh so thorough solution.

Substitute s.outlook.com in that Server name box. Continue to complete the account configuration options and exit the accounts area.

It's probably a good idea to cut the phone off --- wait 15 secs -- turn phone

back on. You should then go to your home page or app area and find the email icon

and you should see all your "total" email box with folders and all.

Good Luck All !

Sincerely

Up until recently I was able to setup and utilize an exchange account for Office365 on my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Android 4.1.

I have had to wipe my phone / factory reset several times over the last year and every time setting up whether manual, or when I was lucky to have automatic work, was fast and easy. During that time my organization was utilizing pod51019. However, since then we've been moved over to pod51044.

Yesterday I had to wipe my phone with factory reset. Upon setting it back up I noticed the changes to the servers in the address bar, but also noticed under the settings area it now lists our server as outlook.office365.com. With that I proceeded unsuccessfully to add an Exchange account.

Here is what I have done/tried so far:

I removed the device from my list in OWA.

Left domain blank, entered username as jsmith@company.com, entered my password, and for server used outlook.office365.com (Incorrect Password / Username)

Left domain blank, entered username as jsmith@company.com, entered my password, and for server used m.outlook.com (Incorrect Password / Username)

Left domain blank, entered username as jsmith@company.com, entered my password, and for server used pod51044.outlook.com (Incorrect Password / Username)

Logged into PowerShell, started a session with Office365, did a get-mailbox -identity and using only the first portion as I have previously, entered that bit of characters plus .mailbox.outlook.com (Incorrect Password / Username)

I would like to mention that I've tested every single one of these settings on the TestExchange service. They all came back 100% successful and working. I also know that the password was inputted correctly on the device and I did reset the password once as there was a previous article here suggesting that might work (not sure why).

*At 8:28AM as I was typing this message my phone accepted the very first option. I am a bit irritated.

This issue needs to be fixed for future reference as my contacts/calendar/entire livelihood is via that account.
