After a month or so away, I've found that the pictures have disappeared from my website. Why is this and how can i restore them?
Hi Farnsfield,
Can you let us know the website address so we can check it?
Were you by any chance on Office Live Small Business, and did you copy and paste your website over to 365? If you did then this is the problem, when you use copy and paste it simply pastes as a link to the original location of the picture. when OLSB was closed your old site was closed, so the pictures are no longer there, hence why they do not show up on 365. what you will need to do is upload the images via the picture library and replace them on each page. You can try right clicking on each red cross and selecting relink, and choose the uploaded image you want.

many thanks for your reply
Yes, it is as I expected. I have looked at the home page and pasted the image location of the missing image below;
http://farnsfieldconsulting.services.officelive.com/images/watch.jpg
From this we can see that it was pasted as the 365 site has the above link, this basically is telling the browser that the image can be found at the above location, but it no longer exists.
What you will need to do is;
I think the images were lost with the change over. The change over from Office Live to 365 has cost me more time and money that I care to think about. So much hassle. Microsoft should be ashamed. If I could change to a different supplier I would but Micorsoft have you by the balls as usual.
You may wish to try recovery of the site and get the images back;

Farnsfield,
Why would you say "Micorsoft have you by the ..."
