How do I get my website to be viewable to the general public who would like to visit my site and aren't teamsite members. For some reason my site is not viewable.

  • Hello Da Rev,

This is Jason Burnside from Microsoft Office365 SharePoint Support.

Thanks for coming to the communities with your concerns about your public-facing website.

It will be viewable to the public by default however if you recently switched to a vanity domain it may take 24 hours for you to be able to access your website and for the links in the portal to update to your vanity domain URLs.

If you haven’t recently switched to a vanity domain, please verify you are going to the correct website URL.

Please let me know if this resolves your issue.

I will continue to monitor this thread if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

  • I got this initial thread resolved but I do have another question I am linking to this thread because I don't remember how I got here to do the thread in the first place.

I have 2 alerts when I log into my office35 account saying that I have 2 subscriptions that are about to expire. The 2 are the P1 plan and Office Professional Plus. If I choose not to renew one of them or both of them what effect does that have on my account and my site and how does it effect my ability to have access to my email accounts i have under the high praise ministries name?

  • Da Rev,

P1 = Sharepoint Online, web site, Exchange email, Lync

Pro Plus = desktop Office software (Word, Excel etc).

They aren't dependent on each other though some functionality in the P1 plan is reduced without Pro Plus or at least having Office 2007 or 2010 installed.

So for web site/email the minimum you need is the P1 plan.
