Hi Dyanabelle,
Are you trying to sign into the Lync client? If so, does your Sign-In Address match your Username? Also, are you using automatic or manual configuration?
If you are using automatic configuration, try changing it to manual, and enter the following string into both fields: sipdir.online.lync.com:443
Then attempt to sign in again; do you encounter a specific error message? If so, can you post a screenshot?
Thanks,
Justin
Is there anything I can help you with to resolve your issue?
Hi,
I have the same problem. I keep on getting the error message that my username/password is incorrect, but i can login to the Office365 using the same credentials.
Trying the manual configuration is also not working.
Any other option?
Thanks, Peter
I am also having the same problem and have tried the manual configuration.
Are you guys using a vanity domain and do you have your DNS records set up. One of the Office 365 MVP's Loryan Strant created a great website for validating your DNS records to make sure they are set up properly. I'd recommend validating all of your Lync records there before moving forward. Also make sure if you are using split DNS that your internal servers resolve the same way, Loryan's tool only validates external DNS records:

To be honest you lost me at vanity domain...my head explodes when I read DNS etc...have no idea. Is there an Idiots Guide to an Idiots Guide to 365 that I could get hold of?
Thanks though - it's my inability that is the problem.

Jeremy,
You just responded to a 21 day old posting, telling them that they should create a new posting. WOW.
Where is that rule? what tells us to do that?
I see people having the same problem and I piggyback off of it,. Why not?
