I have some problems with the activation of the public IM connectivity.
Since 5 days I see only the message "You may have to wait up to one day before you can communicate with Windows Live Messenger users." and the progress is not being made.
Is it the known problem or am I doing something wrong?
P.S.:The domain federation is enabled.
After 6 days of waiting the services was activated
I'd like to know if you requested for vanity domain to enable public IM.
Please diagnose the status for vanity domain if you added.
You can use the Troubleshoot domains wizard to help determine
whether you have configured records at your registrar correctly or have
allowed enough time for the changes to take effect.
On the Domains page, click the domain name that you want to configure, and then click View properties.
On the Domain properties page, click Troubleshoot domain.
On the Check your status page, select the statement that describes the steps that you’ve already completed, and then click Next.
If the results do not help resolve your issue, see Troubleshoot issues after changing your domain name.
If your changes still aren’t working properly, enter a service request.
