I am attempting to integrate my Cisco VCS system with Lync Online. There is a Cisco integration guide (see here) that is very useful for on-premise Lync integration, but there are some Powershell commands that must be run against the Lync server to make the VCS a trusted application and assign a static route for the SIP traffic.
Looking through the forums I don't see any abilities to run Powershell commands against the Lync server, nor do I see anyone attempting this integration.
I see how I could do this with an E4 plan with an on-premise Lync server, but I don't need UM/EV in my office and convincing the powers that be to pay more isn't going to work.
I guess my question is; is it possible to create a trusted application and static route to another SIP environment with Lync Online?
Thanks, Chris
Hi Chris,
Currently, it’s not available to create a trusted application and static route to another SIP environment with Lync Online. As you mentioned, it’s available to configure via On-premise Lync server environment.
Thanks, Monica Tong
