When clicking the link provided to join a Lync Online Meeting the following error displays:
(It may be worth pointing out that our O365 configuration includes 8 domains, and that the users domain (ethofy.com) is not the “active” O365 domain (ethofy.onmicrosoft.com)

All users are affected.

Based on current situation, I suggest you to attend the meeting on another computer to see if this error persist.
As an alternative I suggest you Join a meeting from your computer with Lync 2010 Attendee.

Besides, If you could not join a meeting scheduled in Outlook, I would like to suggest you to set up Microsoft Lync Online. You may also need to remove your Lync Online license temporarily, wait for some time and then re-assign the license and check if it helps.

This issue not isolated to one person or one PC. The issue effects our everyone in our company.

Is it required that we need to change our DNS Name Servers over to ns1.bdm.microsoftonline.com for our primary domain? We are currently using enom.

Before changing the name server records to point to Office 365, I would like to confirm if you are using Office 365 Enterprise version or Office 365 Small Business version?
If you are using Office 365 P plan, you may need to change name server records as the picture suggested.

The relevant DNS records, such as, NS records must be right for Plan P user. So you can consider Ann's suggestion.
