How do you import a Desktop Outlook 2010 calendar to Office 365 Portal Outlook? The directions that support emailed me are not working.
Thanks,
Michelle

Export your calendar to a pst file, connect outlook to the office 365 servers, and import your pst back in

Hi Chris Eckert,
Thanks for your reply. You can take look the following steps:
1, export the calender as a PST file office.microsoft.com/.../export-outlook-items-to-an-outlook-data-file-pst-HA102534110.aspx
2, connect Exchange online mailbox via Outlook2010 help.outlook.com/.../dd253202.aspx
3, import the pst file support.sherweb.com/.../how-to-import-a-pst-file-in-outlook-2010-exchange-2010
Thanks, Neo Zhu
Hi Chris,
How are you doing? I am just writing to see if there is any progress on this issue. I do not mean to push you. I just want to ensure that you do not encounter any problems during the troubleshooting. Thank you.
Neo Zhu
I need more details than this. I don't know how to connect to outlook. I feel that this is already done. Please provide step by step instructions.
No there has not been any progress. I need step by step instructions.
Dave, exactly how do you import a .pst file into 365? This is not possible with 365. I don't see any way to import a Calendar from any source such as Outlook or Google Calendar into the calendar of 365. For me this prohibits the purchase.
Connect outlook to your 365 account and import the pst file into outlook. It will then sync to the server
Dave,
I'm not sure if you are referencing my question but if you are, I don't have a 365 Account. I am using the Trial of 365 with Outlook. There is no way to import a .pst file into Outlook online that I can see.
Connect outlook from your desktop to your 365 account.
What exactly does that mean? Can you be specific?
From my desktop, I log into my trial of 365. There is no option to IMPORT a PST file anywhere under any menu that I can find. If anywhere it should be under Admin but is not.
Ok, do this,
Go to "google" on the Internet. Open up your browser and type http://google.com
In the search bar, type "how to import a .pst file in "outlook".
Then you will see how to do it
Like I have said before, you just need to connect outlook to your 365 account.
Dave, I don't think we are on the same page here. I know how to import a .pst file into the Desktop version of Outlook. I've been doing it for two decades. I have been using Outlook every day, since at least 1992 when it was called Schedule Plus.
Your directions (or lack of) do not apply to Office 365 and Outlook. There is not way to import a PST into the online version of Outlook 365. If you think there is please outline them here in this forum. Thanks
Sounds good
I cant help anymore... Good luck
