Over the last 3 weeks we have had confirmation that certain emails directed to us are not being forward through to Exchange Online, therefore to us and also time delays in emails being received of up to 24 hours.
Are these email being caught up in the spam filter or is there another issue. Example of where these emails are coming from are "@acclipse.com"and "@mtaasuper.com.au"
I will point out that we receiving emails, its just that we are unsure which ones aren't getting through and in our business we cannot afford to miss these!
Does this problem just happen on emails coming from domain “@acclipse.com"and "@mtaasuper.com.au"? Since you are the recipient, the message header would be helpful to narrow down this issue. Would you please post a message header of one delayed email? So, we can understand the problem in more details.
If you are using Outlook 2007, you can refer to the article below to check the message header of the delayed email.

If you are using Outlook 2010, double click to open the delayed email, click file, click properties under info category, you can see the message header information in the Internet headers box.

I'm out of the office at the moment but the delayed email is not from one of those domains.
There are other emails that are not getting through, those 2 are just confirmation from me. I can supply a list if you require.
We are running outlook 2010.

Per the mail header in previous post, the delay occurs when email is transferred from mail server for sender "SPOTeam@microsoftonline.com" (mta.email.microsoftonline.com) to FOPE of Office 365 (VA3EHSMHS003.bigfish.com).
Before going further, could you let me know:
--Are your computer still using the Business Productivity Online Services and Software (BPOS)? Have you migrated your service in BPOS to Office 365? I noticed that the sender in mail header is "SPOTeam@microsoftonline.com" So, I would like to confirm about it.
--Do the delayed emails from domain “@acclipse.com"and "@mtaasuper.com.au" encounter the same delay problem when transferred to FOPE server of Office 365? You may help to check the mail header of these delayed emails from domain “@acclipse.com"and "@mtaasuper.com.au".
Meanwhile, if all delayed emails encounter problem before reaching Exchange Online (FOPE Server of Office 365), it seems the problem is related to sender side. It may be difficult to troubleshoot this problem in a forum. To resolve this issue more effectively, I suggest you submit a service request to us. So, we can troubleshoot this problem further.

We are not using BPOS.
The emails from "@acclipse.com"and "@mtaasuper.com.au" are not the delayed emails but emails that are getting bounced back to the sender.
I was thinking that FOPE was holding it up.
A service request has been sent through via T-Suite, as Telstra has rolled out the Office 365 for us.

What version of O365 do you have, the P or E plan? If you have the E plan you can access FOPE and run a message trace to see if messages are getting blocked or marked as spam. Additionally you can create whitelists for domains, IP's or users for things getting falsely tagged. If you are on the P plan you have to submit a ticket to O365 support.

We have the E plan.
The major concern i have with the whitelist is i have to now all the domains. Business that we deal with and also clients. Thats going to be alot.
Also the delay is becoming a problem...
Have you followed Jorge’s suggestion to run a message trace in FOPE? The message traces can help you determine if messages sent to or from your Microsoft Online environment were delivered successfully, blocked by FOPE or anti-spam filters, or rejected.

Meanwhile, I noticed that you have submitted a service request via T-Suite. You may send me the case ID via private message and I will help you monitor the status of the case.
I have added a few rules and we seem to be getting extra emails through.
Spam filter indicated 90% was spam, which for us is way to high. After the additions to rules is has dropped to 60% over the last few days so thing are improving.
I have not done the trace yet but will now.
How are things going on your side? Do you have any updates about the status of the issue? Thank you.
the rules are passing through most of our "important email" however there still seems to be random delays on some of these emails. also the tracking does not seem to be accurate or is it delayed by a day or so to?

Per the previous post, most of your "important emails" are passing through after you created new rules in FOPE. I am glad that things going better now. I have been very impressed with your high level of technical proficiency.
Because there are still random delays on some of emails, would you please post back the following information at your convenience? So, we can troubleshoot this problem further.
1. Could you let us know the configuration of the rules that you added into FOPE?
Note: If the conditions in the rules are too strict, some emails might be block by the rules.
2. Please post a message header of one delayed email once the problem reoccurs.
3. Please run a message trace report in FOPE for the delayed email mentioned in step 2 and post back the result of report.
The rules i have set have been basic at this stage. For example;
1015819 Inbound All Domains Allow
Sender domain: mtaasuper.com.au
Description: allow mtaasuper.com.au domain incoming mail
The delayed emails are now reduced or are with an hour and I am happy so far. Any that I pick up on i will inform you.
