Is it possible to mass import whitelisted EMAILS and DOMAINS on a company-wide level?

What's the easiest way to whitelist hundreds if not thousands of trusted email addresses and domain names?

We're experiencing a lot of false-positives with the default anti-spam system.

  • We do have access to the FOBE administration.

Are you referring to this form?

FOBE > Administration > Policy Rules > New Policy Rule

Do you paste one entry per line or comma separated?

  • Hello Angeles,

    Yes, you are right.
You may create a new policy rule to set email address and domain as blocked or allowed. A comma will be needed to separate from different domains. For example: abc.com, bcd.com

Of course you could save/archive all of the old email and then import them as a .pst or .csv file.

When you say DOMAINS, I assume you mean the email addresses in your contact list?

What is triggering the false positives. Is it that the addresses domain is already on a spammer lists?

How many users are we talking about?

Your's sounds like a bigger than small business.

  • What we would like to do is import whitelisted EMAIL ADDRESSES and DOMAINS from another filtering system we were using previously.

    For example:

    good@gmail.com

    Or:

    *@gmail.com

What are the exact steps for importing whitelists?

  • You need at least E1 subscription to be able to access FOPE adminsitration (through Exchage settings in OWA) You can import *.csv files with whitelist/blacklist domains there.
