Could use a hand - We're trying to connect our Asterisk PBX (hosted through Aretta/cBeyond) to our Office 365 UM.
We've got all the pre-reqs (I think), but our host doesn't really provide any support... in theory, it's possible... but we don't really know where to start.
So, with all of that said, is there anyone in the awesome 365 community that's actually gotten such a connection to work? If so, how?!
At this point I've done the following:
- Setup the UM IP Gateway to point to our Asterisk PBX
- Setup the forwarding address setup on our Asterisk PBX
... but that's about it. Kind of not sure where to go from here.
Anyone's assistance that's been here before would be appreciated.

Hi PhiID,
Thanks for coming to the communities with your concerns about trying to connect Asterisk PBX (hosted through Aretta/cBeyond) to Office 365 UM.
According to your description, you had setup the UM IP Gateway to point to our Asterisk PBX and setup the forwarding address setup on our Asterisk PBX.
Based on this solution, I suggest that you need to check if your PBX will work with Office 365 UM or not firstly. You can refer Unified Messaging in Office 365
After that, you can finish configuration refer following links:
Plan for UM Understanding PBX and IP PBX Configurations

Keats,
Thanks for the reply!
I've reviewed all of the linked materials. It was what allowed me to get to this point.
Problem is, that documentation is lacking in specifics... gives a great overview though.
