Hello Everyone,
We are currently hosting about 30 mailboxes at Intermedia. Talked to their tech support but there is no migration path offered by Intermedia for office 365. There suggestion was to export all users to individual .PST files and import them back in to office 365. Due to the nature of our business, all of our users works from their home and couple of developers in India. Everybody rely very heavily on e-mail to communicate with each other and with our customer. Any downtime other than late nights and weekend will be a disaster. Since hybrid is not an option for me. What would be the least disruptive/painful scenario to move my users to office 365. Also, what would be a good time to move my DNS records to point to the office 365 servers.
Thanks.
Hi RickySMX,
I want to check if this issue has been resolved. If you need further assistance, please feel free to reply to me.
Thanks, Robert Li
I too am migrating from Intermedia onto MS 365 E1 plan. It is a small migration but Intermedia (hosted exchange) offers nothing in way of ability to run any tools. Has anyone migrated from Intermedia? Any pointers / advice? Pitfalls to look out for? I figure it will have to be a PST migration unfortunately.
Thanks,
Joe
check out www.migrationwiz.com. It is a cloud based service that can migrate from any hosted platform. It works great, I have used it successfully for many migrations from hosted platforms.
