Enable user to edit all users contact info in GAL - Email and calendar - Office 365

Is there a way to enable a single user to edit the contact information for all entries in the GAL using Outlook?

Any help is appreciated.

What would be the suggested method to give a user access to edit contact information?

Hi DPW,

Do you mean you prefer to let the normal user to update their contact information.

The user can update their information by following steps.

1.Log into Microsoft Online Portal (MOP), click Outlook on the top navigation bar.

2.Click Options on the top right. Then click See All Options…

3.Then Click ‘Edit’ like the follow capture showed.

4.Then the users can update their information like phone number.

I was actually trying to find a way to allow a single user to edit everyone's contact information rather than making everyone edit their own. I ended up adding a user to the Organization Management group. The user could then access the admin web page and modify the accounts using the "manage my organization" option.
