Hi all,
My customer is asking about setting up an alternate email delivery mechanism in Office 365. Their wish is to have an email delivered to their Office 365 account and then have a copy of that email forwarded to an alternate recipient.
Is this possible in Office 365? Perhaps with a FOPE rule?
Thanks
Mike
Hi Mike,
Thanks for posting here. I understand that you would like to create forward emails to a specific recipient/email address. Is it right?
If it is the case, the requirement can be achieved by using transport rule. You may refer to the articles below to create a new transport rule and define the conditions and actions applied to this rule according to your situation. Hi Grace,
Sorry for the delay in replying to your response. The suggestion that you've offered doesn't really work in my case as each user will require a different address for the email to be forwarded to. If I understand your response correctly I would use a transport rule, which would forward all emails to the same mailbox. Please let me know if I have misunderstood your answer.
Actually, you can create different rules for each users. However if there were too many users, then we must create many rules for the users. However, as far as I know there is no another way to forward e-mails to users. Thanks.
