Add an item to a custom list via a sandbox solution

SECURITY for Sharepoint on Office Beta 365
Is the Sharepoint site on Beta 365 supposed to be secure? I can browse to http://miracofficebeta.sharepoint.com/_vti_bin/Lists.asmx without being prompted for an ID/password (EVEN from my iPhone)

Fully agree with the above points. MS are encouraging users, including one man bands who are out on the road using public wifi to store their data in the Cloud/Office 365 and yet not providing basic security like SSL; this at a time when cloud security is a big thing, and MS are promoting themselves...
