I am experiencing an issue that customized web parts are not working in SharePoint Online and is totally affecting our production environment.
Is anyone else experiencing this as well? Our vendor has written web pats using the sandbox model and calling the SharePoint object model.
The thing is, everything was working perfectly normal yesterday and also its affecting both production and staging environments - we have two office 365 environments and not a different site collection.

A ticket was raised and since MS support did not find any problems with the customized sandbox web parts he therefore initiated an internal sandbox service restart request. After that everything went back to normal. Taking it mind it took at least 10 hrs before we were back up and running.
Classic SharePoint resolution is to restart the application service, just wish there was some faster way this could have been resolved. The business was impacted by 1 work day - Which gets me thinking, does the SLA even cover non functioning services? In MS hosting teams mind, there were no issues with the servers, just that they couldn't highlight issues with the Sandbox service ...

The web parts will retrieve content from SharePoint lists / libraries located on subsites within the same site collection.
Built in a sandbox environment and uses the SharePoint Object Model, so mostly server side. One of the errors that is spit out are:

What I cannot grasp is, everything was working perfectly yesterday but today it just stuffed up. Only the customized web parts using SP Web Services and out of web parts are working ok.
Is there any changes about your SharePoint Online service before the web part stopping to work? Based on the current situation, please try to delete and re-publish the web part to your site and see if it works normally.
