I will be using a tablet as a noticeboard in an apartment building that can be updated remotely.
My plan is to simply use a browser on the tablet that periodically reloads a page from my public facing Office365 web-site.
**** How can I update my public-facing website (part of the office365 subscription I use) by exporting html from my MS Access application? **** I don`t want the client tablets to have to login with credentials.
Alternatively, if there is a way to have a sharepoint app on the tablet automatically do the same refresh, that would be ok too.
Thank you.
Hello BillMo,
This is Justin with Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint Support. Thanks for posting your question.
When adding content to the public-facing website portion of any Office 365 account, all of the data will be available without login credentials in a supported browser. Unfortunately at this time, there are no out of box methods to make an Access web database site available publicly with anonymous access. There may be other ways to accomplish this; however you will need to rely on feedback from the community for a custom solution. Feel free to repost your progress on this method if successful.
Thanks and Regards,
