editing text and images in zones - Sites and document sharing - Office 365

This seems like it should be simple but I cannot figure this out. I type text into a zone and have no idea how to change the font, color, size, etc.

Also, shouldn't I be able to resize images when they are inserted into the zone?

Any help is greatly appreciated

I would like to confirm if the text and images you want to edit is in public-facing website or private site?

If you have the permission of editing a page, to change the text font and image resize is available. For example, the setting for public-web site is as following.
