I'm currently working with the latest version of Firefox and trying to open a document in Word instead of working with it inside the browser. I'm getting an error message, however. I have Word 2007 but also downloaded the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint File Formats and am still unable to work with my document in Word.

I can open documents in Word and edit within the browser when I'm using IE with no problem. I noticed many more functions in editing documents inside IE browser vs. Firefox. How can I make sure I have the exact same formatting options and tools in Firefox?
