Support to inbound email for document libraries - Sites and document sharing - Office 365

Does anybody know when SharePoint Online will support inbound email for document libraries?

Is this something thats in the road map?

Unfortunately, I am not aware that this feature will ever be enabled with SharePoint Online. The feature has been removed due to the excessive load that it would put on the servers. Feel free to use the Microsoft Online Feedback Form to add your feedback regarding features that you would like to see become available in future updates of SharePoint Online.

I will continue to monitor this thread if you have any additional questions.

You could look at www.email2db.com or www.email2cloud.com they offer the ability to take emails and send these automatically to a SharePoint list. The software can also parse data from emails which is unique, so you only process the relevant information from the email or attachment to a list/document library. They offer a free trial on the site.
