Hi there!

I added a contact us form on a page of my website.

Strangely all the titles of the contact form (Name (Required) Email address (Required).......) are in yellow instead of Black.

Any help to change the colour of the titles of the form?

Thanks

  • What's happening is the module is being "infected" by formatting on the page. Most text editors will override that effect but this is a poorly put together editor. Delete the module, write any word on the page and color it as you want. Place the cursor between some of the letters and insert the module again. It should inherit the color of the text. If not you'll have to delete a lot of stuff on the page until it does.

  • Hello Pablait,

This is Jason Burnside from Microsoft Office365 SharePoint Support.

Thanks for coming to the communities with your concerns about changing the color of the text on the Contact Us form.

To change the color of the text on the Contact Us form, please complete the following instructions:

    1)      Go to the Contact Us webpage in edit mode

    2)      Click the Design tab

    3)      Click the “Edit Custom Color Scheme…” option

    4)      Expand the Header group

    5)      Change the Accent 1 color

This should allow you to change the Contact Us text label color.

Please let me know if this resolves your issue.

I will continue to monitor this thread for further posts or any additional questions.

    Thanks,

  • Dear Jason,

    thanks for your reply.

Under the Header group, I cannot find the Accent 1 color. There are: Primary color: green and Secondary color: Light green.

The text of the contact form is yellow and I would like to have black text .

    Thanks

  • Hello Pablait,

Unfortunately, I am unable to access the Accent 1 option through the edit color option at this time. You may be able to edit the Contact Us label text color through SharePoint Designer by using custom code however this is unsupported by our team.

You may change the color of the label text by choosing a color grouping however this would affect the whole public-facing website so you may have to edit the rest of the colors through the “edit custom color scheme…” option.

I will continue to monitor this thread for further posts or questions.

    Thanks,
