Learn more about Office 365
We want to use mail.whateverdomain.com as the Office 365 Outlook entry point for OWA, and Outlook settings (POP3, SMTP).
We would normally create a CNAME mail and point it at the Exchange Server or IP address, but in this case we are not sure what to point the mail CNAME at.
Thanks
Hi DCB,
Pointing to OWA (Outlook Web Apps) you can create a cname record to address to "http://mail.office365.com" , On the other hand, if you're looking the address to directly connect to POP or SMTP of Exchange online you can find the detail information in OWA.
Thanks.
DCB,
As for your issue , all the detail information you can found in “Outlook Web Apps (OWA) ->all option”
Not the answer to the question that was asked, thanks anyway
Hi,
You can create a CNAME entry that points to mail.office365.com to give your users an easy to remember entry point.
