Office365 Connect to Office control disabled

I have just setup a subscription version of Office Professional Plus and run the Office configuration software on the Office 365 downloads area but the Office applications are unable to access the documents on my Team Site.  When I go into the library tools in my Documents area, the 'Connect to Office' control is disabled.  Any suggestions?

  • “Connect to Office” feature is temporary disabled in Office 365 P1 edition


    So, if you are in a P1 plan, you won't be able to use that command.

  • Thanks Alexandru, I am on a P1 plan.  Have you any idea why it has been disabled?

  • I have no clue, but perhaps a SharePoint support member can clarify this situation.
