I need an up to date uploader to use to upload my picture for my slideshows.  The one I am using not says my pictures are to large and I need to reduce the size by saving them as a JPEG image.  My images are already JPG.
Also, with an up to date uploader, I would be able to choose and upload as many pictures as I need at one time rather 10 at a time.  Check Small Office Live, they had a great uploader.

Now it is too much trouble to make just one slideshow on this website.  I have at least three slideshow I need to add to this website right away.  Please help.   I am sure that an uploader like this one will help everyone using this web service.

Thanks for your kind attention.

  • Hi,

This is Tim with Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint Support.

From the web designer interface, you will see the limitation of only being able to upload 10 pictures at a single time. It is possible to upload more than 10 pictures from the images library located at http://<domain>.sharepoint.com/pages/forms/allitems.aspx or http://ww.<domain>.com/pages/forms/allitems.aspx. Please see the screen shot below for additional assistance.

  • The slideshow and uploader in the editor are the exact same as OLSB, so not sure what you mean. The uploader in the image gallery is actually a big improvement as long as you have MSFT picture editor installed. Another major improvement is the ability to connect directly to the image library and drag and drop images in bulk using Open with Explorer or Sharepoint Designer. So you don't even have to use the in-editor uploader if you don't like it.
