Office Pro Plus

This question is answered This question is answered
Downloaded and installed Office 2010, linked to 365.  Had Office 2007 prev installed.  The install wiped those and when I try to run any Office 2010 program, it tells me "not installed" even though they are listed in "All Programs".  So I went to 365 and clikced on Word.  Windows Installer responded "file not found" looking for a file from Office 2007.  This whole 365 conversion is major crap.  Any thoughts????

  • Hi David,

    Thanks for posting here.
I understand that you have installed Office Professional Plus 2010 for Office 365 in your computer, and experienced the issue that some files could not found. Besides, Office 2007 had been also installed previously

Based on the current situation, would you please refer to the step-by-step provided in the article for uninstall the installed Office 2007 and Office 2010, and then reinstall Office Professional Plus 2010 to see if the issue can be fixed?

  • Reply was on the mark.  Office 2007 did not properly de-install.  I used Windows remove program to remove a remaining piece than ran CCleaner to cleanup the temp files.  I then went back to install Office 2010 Subscription and specified "deinstall all components" before installing. Worked nicely.  Thanks.
