I get error messages when I try to install downloads:
1) Update for Microsoft Office 2007 failed - error 17031
2) Configure Microsoft Outlokk failed
3) Shortcuts for Microsoft Office 365 failed
Thanks for your post. Before any further, could you please help me understand the following questions,
1, Which plan you are using Offie365 Plan P or Plan E ?
2, Are you installing “desktop apps” from portal.microsoftonline.com/download ?
3, Which version of Office client you are using , Office2007 or Office2010?
If you are setting up the “desktop app” for your Office2007, I’d like you can see community.office365.com/.../manually-install-office-365-desktop-updates.aspx and after that install the Office365 apps.

Q1 : Update for Microsoft Office 2007 failed - error 17031

Q2 : Configure Microsoft Outlokk failed
A: Please ensure that Office365 Exchange Online requires Office2007 SP2 or later. The important part of configuration Outlook client is to install MSOL/sign-in assistant ,you can download from http://community.office365.com/en-us/w/administration/manually-install-office-365-desktop-updates.aspx
Q3: Shortcuts for Microsoft Office 365 failed
A: Please ensure the desktop apps has been successfully installed.
