Is anyone else seeing this?
Go to the Team Site (P-1 my E-3 account is fine) and try to edit an Excel file in the browser. I and a client get the following error:
Unable to process the request.
Wait a few minutes and try performing this operation again.
I've tried IE 8, IE9 and Chrome and get the same results. Word seems to be fine.

Looks like mine is now working properly as well. Somebody must have rebooted something.
It's working here in IE8, but in Firefox the drop down context menu isn't opening.
Are you in a P-1 account? It wierd that my E-3 account operates just fine but the P-1 fails both here and on my client's account.
