I have two HTC desire phones and when trying to login via the Lync 2010 client the application just sits at "Reading Setting..." and doesn't go any further.
The login with MAC/Windows and iPhone & iPad work fine.
Thanks for the feedback.

I don't think its a network issue as the problem occurs on both the wifi network and the 3G mobile network. iPad and iPhone work fine.
Can you please confirm on what is the version of OS running in HCT Desire. Also you can check the article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2691382 . For Lync client to work on Adroid OS mobile devices should be running OS 2.3 or later. I would recommend you to upgrade your mobile devices with latest OS and Lync for mobile client.
Can you please update me on the same.
Is there anything I can help you with to resolve your issue?"
I have analyzed the logs and didn't find any errors. I would recommend you to upgrade the OS to the Latest Version.
That is the latest version for that phone.
Can you confirm on the mode of connectivity i.e. WIFI or 3G. If you are using WIFI and unable to connect, then can you check the status with 3G.
I have tried it on both 3G and wifi.
I have the same problem on a galaxy s2 with ics
I manually added the server addresses
Internal - sipdir.online.lync.com:443
External - sipdir.online.lync.com:443
and then tried to connect. That failed.
I then changed it back to auto and it seemed to work fine after that.
