we are running lync on 365 and are on wave 15
Having upgraded to lync 2013 when trying to set up online meetings in outlook 2010 getting an error message saying log in to lync - which is of course running happily. Yes the addin for outlook is enabled.
Revert to lync 2010 and it all works again.
We now want to roll this out to the users but need this issue fixed first :-(
Any working solutions?
Do you mean when you schedule an online meeting from Outlook 2010, it can’t login to Lync 2013 and can’t schedule successfully?
Based on my experience, Lync 2013 integration features are supported on Outlook 2013 and Microsoft Outlook 2010. You can refer to the following link:
The Online Meeting Add-in for Lync 2013, which supports meeting management from within the Outlook messaging and collaboration client, installs automatically with Lync 2013.
Could you please capture the error message and post here?
I also suggest you use Outlook 2013 interact with Lync 2013. The previous versions of add-ins do not provide new Lync 2013 add-in features, such as the option to mute all attendee audio and video upon meeting entry.
