We'd looked into the sharing of desktop and application windows and found that while a meeting begun internally can have presenters both internal and external to the organization, those internal to the organization cannot successfully share their desktop or an application window. This seems to be because the responding URL from office 365, https://mrbl20a00.online.lync.com/ doesn't respond so opendns jumps in the middle and provides search results. Also the site seems to have an invalid certificate. Ultimately, the sharing session doesn't connect.
Has anyone else seen this behavior?

An issue occurred when using Desktop Sharing. Before moving on, I would like to confirm the following information.
User A in the internal network cannot share program/desktop to user B in external network, or user B in external network cannot share program/desktop to user A in the internal network? Are there 2 users both Office 365 Lync Online users?
The issue usually caused by the network configuration. To troubleshoot the issue, you can refer the following link for reference. Please note if User B is in another internal network, you need to set corresponding configuration either. http://onlinehelp.microsoft.com/en-us/office365-enterprises/hh416761.aspx.
If the issue persists, please refer the KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2409256 to configure an exception for Microsoft Online Services URLs and applications from the proxy or firewall.
