Sharing Calendar - Exchange data file

This question has suggested answer(s) This question has suggested answer(s)

I am trying to share my calendar and I receive a message saying 'Permissions cannot be granted. To share this folder, your default delivery location must be MS exchange'. I have successfully setup the Mail exchange but it doesn't seem to be working in Calendar.

So basically, I need to create an exchange data file - personal folder for Outlook. How do I do this?

  • Hi Bernie,
I'd like to clarify this issue by asking the following questions:
      1. Do you have multiple accounts attached in your Outlook client?
      2. Have you checked whether the calendar you want to share disappears in OWA (Outlook Web Client)?

In your situation, for troubleshooting this issue, I would like if you could Create a new outlook date file, you may refer to Create a file to save your information.

For more information, you may refer to Sharing a Calendar.

If you have other questions, please feel free to post on the forum.

    Thanks,
