Header Style

  • I'm editing a publicly facing website. I want to modify one of the available header styles - "A minimalist style with vertical stripe accents". I want to remove the white square so that the logo will go in that spot. Right now the logo appears on top of the text even though I select "Next to title" for the display location of the logo, and it doesn't look good. I'm hoping that removing the white square will eliminate that problem.
  • Hello KathleenC,

This is Jason Burnside from Microsoft Office365 SharePoint Support.

Thanks for coming to the communities with your concerns about the white square showing up in your header.

I was able to reproduce this issue. The way I resolved it was by following these instructions”

    1)      Went into edit mode

    2)      Click on the Design tab

    3)      Clicked the Theme dropdown

    4)      Click No Image

This resolved my issue by removing the white square and still allowing me to use my own logo and text.

Please let me know if this resolves your issue.

I will continue to monitor this thread if you have any additional questions.
