Adding email attachments

I have a teacher with a MAC using Office 365. He cannot attach documents to an email. The browse box will appear, but when he tries to search, he gets the message that no file is selected. I logged on as myself and had the same problem. He can attach in other emails - such as gmail. This only happens in Office 365. HELP!!!
