Office 365 Login

This question is answered This question is answered
I have a Office 365 account. To log in via browser (in order to check my mail) i usually browse to https://login.microsoftonline.com Now, for some reason in Chrome this gets rerouted to https://login.live.com I assume this is the working of some cookie, but I am no expert at all with cookies. So I am just guessing. The problem is, on login.live.com I cannot login with my Office365 credentials. In fact, I am not able to check my emails with Chrome at all. So for now, I just start Opera (where I delete all of the history and cookies every time I exit) to login to Office 365. I do not recall whether I have a "live" (or is it Windows Live, Microsoft Live maybe?) account. I do use SkyDrive. But then again all of that should not really matter. Can someone tell me how to resolve this? I do not want to delete all of my cookies. Regards Bernhard

  • Hi musterbeispiel,

To login to Office 365, it is recommended that users use the URL https://portal.microsoftonline.com. In addition, because Office 365 account and Windows Live ID are different Microsoft services, users are not able to log into Office 365 via https://login.live.com page.

Since Chrome and Opera are not the product from Microsoft, I suggest trying to log into your Microsoft Office 365 Portal and Outlook Web Apps by using Internet Explorer(IE).

If you still cannot log into your Microsoft Office 365 Portal via Internet Explorer (IE), it will be nice that you can provide the screenshot about the error message. You can post the screenshots here by clicking Use rich formatting, and clicking Insert Image icon.

    Thanks,
