online sharepoint quota

  • I am trialing office365 E3.

    I can see

    "21500 MB available

and total storage quota is 1000M"

Does this mean, I can setup many sharepoint sites, and each sharepoint can have 1G storage space?

    Thanks.

  • oh, I got it.

I can set the quota for my sharepoint site.

Just my total storage is what office365 can provide.

  • Hi Edward,

where can I have a look at the quota?

I am also using the office365 trail version.

  • Hi Volle,

you can set up new site collections only if you are on an Enterprise plan, the Small Business plan doesn't allow any additional SCs.

Having said that, the following is thus only valid if you're on an E plan:

    1. Log in to portal.microsoftonline.com
    2. Click Manage under SharePoint Online
    3. Click on Site Collections
    4. You'll see the existing SCs and the assigned quotas, as well as the available resources:

  • Hi Rene,

very nice, thank you very much, that´s what I was looking for.

But I have one more question, can I also see or set the quotas of a user? Or only the whole website?

    Regards

    Volle

  • Hi Volle,

what do you mean with quota of a user? Do you want to assign a specific user a specific amount of storage that he can use in SharePoint?
