  • Hello Emad,

This is Jason Burnside from Microsoft Office365 SharePoint Support.

Thanks for coming to the communities with your concerns about being directed to the login page when attempting to post to your blog.

Are you logged in when you try to post to your blog?

Is your blog site located in your internal site or public-facing website?

Are you trying to navigate to your blog site directly without logging in?

Please explain your issue with specific details.

I will continue to monitor this thread if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

  • Hello Emad,

If you are already signed in, it should not ask you for your credentials as long as you have the “Keep Me Signed In” option checked when you log in.

Unfortunately, when you attempt to leave a comment regarding a blog post you receive an access denied error due to it attempting to make changes to the website that require user permissions.

I will continue to monitor this thread if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

  • Hello Emad,

Users are able to navigate to the blog webpages and posts however they receive access denied when they attempt to click the links in the Recent Post Web Part. It may be an issue with using the Recent Post web part on the public-facing website. Unfortunately, our team does not support using web parts on the public-facing website.

I will continue to monitor this thread if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,
