So I have today signed up for Office 365, now what?..the transition guide: blah blah blah outlook blah domain blah???
I am a singular user, I have:
a hotmail email address which I use through office live
my website domain name (through OLSB)
and of course my trusty website
What am I supposed to do next, to presevent my website & email disappering I am not happy about the prospect of fannying around with either of them, I cannot afford downtime whilst my domain & email disappears from pillar to post these are an integral part of my business
Thanks for the feedback.
Then you blah blah (click) --> Follow the steps 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
or --> Move Somewhere Else
Hi Do what,
How are things going on your side?
Things arent going anywhere, it's just too complicated, in all honesty I do not need all the office tools associated with 365 but I do need a good website
"If all you are looking for is just some place to build your public website then don't move to Office 365. If you don't know what working in the cloud means then don't move to Office 365"
Sums it up for me, but if I move somewhere else to host a website I will lose my email address right?
You will need to create it somewhere else.
See --> www.builditon365.com/.../OLSBEmailAccounts.aspx
Well looks like I am going to have to punch on I cannot lose my email address it's the lifeline to a property lettings business
Looking through http://www.builditon365.com I want to create an email address as... name
@MyDomainName.com rather than the @SomeName.onmicrosoft.com do I have to move my domain first before I can create this?
You can create e-mail address @mydomainame.com on office365. Please follow the steps in the article below to do so.
Option 1: Move your email and website to Office 365 (US/English)
Besides, you may find other useful information of OLSB transition from the link below.
