What happens if i use outlook 2013 and 2010 at the same time?

This question is answered This question is answered
If I have already been using Outlook 2010 (or 2007) and then I download Outlook 2013 and start using it, what happens to all the e-mails, etc.. in Outlook 2010? Can I have both versions on my computer at the same time? Thanks.

  • Hi Mark,

Based on my test, we can install Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013 on one computer. However, we can only open one Outlook client at a time. For example, if you have opened Outlook 2010, then when you open Outlook 2013, you will receive the following error message:

Therefore, I recommend you use one version of Outlook client at a time.
