Jajah Voice, the Lync-to-phone service provider for Office 365, will discontinue service as of August 31, 2013. There are currently no other Lync-to-phone providers available. However, Microsoft is actively working on improved options for Lync-to-phone/PSTN connectivity. We recommend that you check the forums regularly for updates.

Your post is a great read. I have one comment regarding the "Includes full support for IP desk phones with Lync Phone Edition." I have tried to connect a non-USB Lync certified Desk phone and it did not work. I contacted Jajah and they said it is not supported. Do you have additional information regarding this?
I have the same question as Kyle888. In my Lync Plan 3 experience two months ago, Phone Edition devices like the CX 600 can only connect via USB not via network cable to Office 365. The same phones connect to on-premise Lync servers fine. According to the official data sheet that was just updated last week, phone edition devices are still not supported. Perhaps that document is wrong? Here it is: www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx
I just received an email from Jajah that they will not be providing Lync-to-Phone service after August 31. Can you point me in the direction of alternative vendors? Right now, they seem to be the only vendor in North America. I'd like to start the number porting process asap. Thanks.
Hello @PatrickK_MSFT I received the same email from Jajah as @jenniferb . Where do we go now for Lync-to-Phone service? Thank you, Brian
Well, it seems that Microsoft has once again put the cart before the horse. They have known the JaJa Serve was ending several months ago. I'm not sure if it is JaJa's doing or MS. I know JaJa has a horrible customer service reputatio as I have personally experienced. MS has been very closed lip about the future of Lync To Phone, but we all know they have the Skype Platform that can surely deliver the service, and a promise that by June (hmmm... next week), there would be new capabilities in Lync that logically would incorporate Skype as the Lync to Phone Provider.
This is all conjecture on my part, but for those of us who have business to run it seems we are left in limbo on this one. Once again, very disappointing and frustrating.
Hello @PatrickK_MSFT I opened a ticket first thing this morning with Office 365 support. Ticket number: 1207023801 Thank you, Brian
Hello @PatrickK_MSFT Thank you for your help. This is an essential feature for Lync and it is my sincere hope that someone at Microsoft has a "Plan B" available. Thanks again, Brian
Thanks @PatrickK_MSFT Do you any guess as to when an alternative might be available? As noted in an earlier post, I'm sure that Microsoft was aware of this announcement long before it was made public. Thank you again for your help and support, Brian

From the case notes I see that you are enquiring about Jajah and Lync Online service and alternatives.
To answer your question as of now I can tell you that Microsoft and Jajah are currently evaluating the long term viability of the Jajah voice service for Office 365. We expect to have a combined decision in the near future.
Currently there is no alternative. Microsoft will update you via email once we have alternatives available for Lync to phone.
